Something wonderful will come your way with a little patience and the right preparation.
In Solna, a city just north and west of Stockholm you can find a series of eight highrise buildings Hagalund residential area named Blåkulla, or Blue Hill. They were built in the 1970s and replaced a picturesque working-class and craftsman neighbourhood built long ago in the 1890s. And while they don't have the same charm as the old neighborhood, parts of which exist to the east of these buildings, they do have a attractive way of interacting with the sky. The light blue paint on the Blue Hill buildings echo and compliment the colors of sunrise, sunset and every passing storm, making for some interesting images. I have photographed here many times while visiting my father and I dearly miss evenings spent with him on the balcony, sipping tea, and waiting for the sunset to paint the neighborhood. All I need is my camera, a tripod, and a little patience.
